Explore one of Jordan’s wildest and most scenic canyons on this full-day guided canyoning trip in Wadi Zarqa Ma’in. Located between Madaba and the Ma’in Hot Springs, this route offers a thrilling mix of hiking, swimming, and rappelling.
You’ll cover around 5 kilometers of rugged terrain. Along the way, you’ll descend three stunning waterfalls: 6 meters, 35 meters, and a final drop of 45 meters. Each section adds a new sense of challenge and beauty.
This experience is ideal for adventurous beginners and experienced explorers alike. You don’t need previous canyoning experience. Our certified guides will teach you everything you need to know, from harness fitting to safe rappelling.
Because it’s remote and less-traveled, this canyon gives you space to connect with nature. With every step, you’ll discover quiet pools, natural rock corridors, and dramatic views — all while moving at your own pace.
If you’re ready for a rewarding, water-filled journey off the beaten path, Zarqa Ma’in is the canyon to conquer.

Zarqa Ma’in is not a beginner-friendly canyon. You should have previous canyoning experience or be very fit, confident outdoors, and comfortable with heights. This route includes technical sections, deep water, and high rappels.
The route includes three rappels — one of them is a 45-meter waterfall descent. You’ll also need to hike over rugged terrain, scramble across wet rock, and swim in cold water. It’s remote, long, and physically demanding.
Yes — but it’s important that participants follow instructions and respect their limits. Our guides are certified, experienced, and use top-quality gear. All rappels are done using backup safety systems.
