Wadi Mukhaires is one of Jordan’s most accessible canyoning routes. Just north of the Dead Sea, this half-day adventure takes you through a stunning desert gorge shaped by water and time.
You’ll hike, scramble, and descend two short abseils (7 and 10 meters) with full support from our certified guide. These rappels are perfect for beginners and families who want real adventure without technical pressure.
Because of its moderate terrain, this trip is ideal for both first-time canyoners and parents with active kids. Children aged 6 and older can join when accompanied by a parent.

The canyoning portion takes around 3–4 hours. Including transfers, expect a 8-hour roundtrip from Amman.
Bring quick-dry clothes or swimwear, grippy shoes or sandals (no flip-flops), a towel, a water bottle, and a change of dry clothes. A waterproof phone pouch is optional but helpful.
